This is not true, i own a wankel XR50 and i go to pfi every couple of months but have never needed to change an axel due to the forces put on to it etc... I only changed an axel there once because it split in half only due to the fact it was already fractured from a crash that i had from a previous test day.

Chassis wise the aixro does'nt put any more strain on the chassis than say an icc shifter kart so i don't see why the chassis would need changing often.

Davec, if you ever like to try a wankel just to see what their like and learn a bit more about them just ask AIM Motorsport and they would arrange a test day no problem.
