Hi chaps,

We are potentially looked at replacing a damaged brake hose on our Kart Components Manually Adjusting Brake System. The hose we have at the moment is braided, however all I can find to replace the hose are plastic ones. When buying a KC Manually Adjustable system from new, you can buy two varients, one with plastic hoses, or for �20 extra, one with braided hoses.

I have emailed Kart Components and GX160Parts to see if they can supply me with the Braided hoses we need and I am waiting their reply; I was just wondering if you guys new any pros and cons around the braided or plastic pipes. My assumption is that the braided is the better, more durable and reliable hose.. but to what degree within this brake system?

Any comments are useful.
