All - thanks for the replies / advice :) Dan - very true with the expense! One of the reasons I've gone for a prokart is the ease of maintenance but I like a gadget so already itching to get some extras!

Definitely not expecting to be anywhere near the front to start with - done a few Club100 races and also been up to Daytona MK and down to Buckmore park for some hire kart open racing but have only been to Rye a couple of times. I also ended up stumbling into a SODI ranking event the other night at Buckmore which was interesting (Loads of 16 year olds hoping to be the next Lewis... a couple with the potential to make it).

Robert - I'll definitely come and say hello / pick your brains - thanks! :) I'd hoped to come down and watch on the 8th but am away so it'll have to be June...

One other question I had: Are there are any solo series within an hour or two of Rye house?
