Its best if you take your engines to ANY One with a Dyno.

Test your engine

then test the New type

This is the best way to see how good theses new engines are, I had a old engine 4 years old, New piston, new rings, leak down tested to 100% No valve leakage, new sealed exhust, new carb.

It was a very good engine 2 years ago, I just had it as a good spare, but as these new engine started coming through, I back to backed it with a new engine, RPM said just sell it Trev �100 !!! ouch I sold it , bacause on the dyno it was only 5.1 apples and the new one was 5.45 apples.

I use Apples as its just a name like BHP.

If you just want to play, keep the old engine.

If you want to get into the top 5 places, dont fix the old one, just buy new.
