Edd, sorry cannot say, far too many other things can change the speed, the only way to test an engine over other engines and on the same dyno and on the same day.
You do not even need the state of the art dyno to compare engines, just a dyno.
Sorry, your have to either buy new, or spend ££ on testing on a dyno, but my advice is buy new, I am sure your be happy in the mid pack, you can also off set the cost with selling the old engine, but £100 is about what an old engine is work.
A super selected part engine will cost quite a bit more.
Your best bet is to have a chat with RPM, Rog and Wilkos are a wealth of info and will help any one, but it will cost £££.
Its motor sport, you want to go fast ?. how much do you want to spend.
Rightly or wrong its that way.
