I'm all for competition! Its the name of the game.
Jeff Johnson does some sparkling motors! I remeber the Multi-Tech days! When JJ worked for that team I think they won every race nearly race in the eki(?)/ ekc champs. The only team that got near them was ARB with Jamie Patten on board really. But tallented driver he is...(3x brit msa champ)
Asm were hot too... On the LG kart esp. Did'nt brighty run those engines?
There was Mike Bray also.. Who used to cryogen the engine block and then match parts! They were good too. Talented engineers all!

Now we have the RPM era, wilko set the ball in motion by turning up with his special engines and knocking out win after win.

We run RPM rubies and are v v happy with them. So no need to change anything as far as we are concerned.

But competition is this a good thing in my eyes, RPM certainly give the rest a target to aim for in terms of quality.
