Yupp..... that's me! Heavy handed.
I suppose it's old-age!
The problem is that I have heard these things SO many times and so many of them seem to be to do with people not wanting to put in the effort to succeed at something.
I simply do not have the SLIGHTEST doubt that you will manage it and you'll do a good job. In all my karting years, I've never met anyone with the DESIRE to succeed who FAILS to manage it given the encouragement..... and a stiff NUDGE in the right direction! I add the 'nudge' to my posts for GOOD reasons as well as an opportunity to vent an increasingly elderly man's frustrations! You will have two extra reasons to go for it..... 1) beacause I think you CAN do it... and 2) to prove that it's NOT just oldies like me who CAN do these things!
Finally, it will guive you a HUGE glow of satisfaction to have managed the job yourelf which will actually galvanize (the modern term is 'empower') you into bigger and better things..... and you'll have even MORE fun!
Not much beats the fun of a Dad and Son working together..... I've been there!
The next thing for you is to get hold of Brian Pollard's CD on setting up the GX160.

He leaves my knowledge on that engine STANDING! And he's almost as old and abrasive as me!
Please accept that my abrasive posts are MEANT to be encouraging...... but subtly disguised!
