firstly, positivekarter i have a thunderkart, infact i have more than 1, and i did look at racing in the OEKC championship. however, i have tried several times over the past year and a bit to get in touch with the organisers by email and through the website, asking about racing my thunderkart in teh series, but have had no reply at all yet. . . do you have any details that i can contact them on which i might get a response from? as i would love to come and race with you guys at some point :)
Lard Ass Bob, i know what your saying, but. . . the qualification rounds were run to a system that mixed the grids up, and made the racing quite a spectacle to watch and race in. we have had a world formula on the podium already. . . so i dont see a problem with it happening again. while the main final is not run on a system to equal out the grid (thats what the qualification rounds were for!) the main grid was decided by points over the qualification rounds, and has been pretty equally split with almost everyone on the gird being in the top three at some point through the series. . . so the main grid should not be a problem. those who havent yet qualified will start off a handicapped start, and in the past, v-twins have been very close run with the thunderkarts at stretton due to the nature of the circuit. . . unless you have seen the racing there, and experienced the racing. . . stretton is different to most circuits, and mixes the racing up. just ask anybody that has raced there, and im sure they will agree.
so if you have a kart that is able to race in this class. . . why not come along and give it a go and see for yourself. . . you never know, you may win some prizemoney?
