The answer is yes. Compared with what some people spend on other championships you can win a true MSA-recognised national championship with the NKRA for comparatively little money.
Thouh I think you would struggle to get away with less than �1500.
As a junior, you would have a choice of JTKM or Junior Blue.
If you wanted to win a 'number' you would have to race Junior Blue and the standard gets ferocious. Thanks to representation by other championships that the NKRA numbers could cause confusion, the MSA stopped the NKRA from issuing 'N' plated prestigious numbers except in Blue, where they issue the full national award.
