There's another part to this.

You do NOT put yourself 'up' as a big 'I AM' character. You give helpful advice and seem a decent bloke.

However, some of us 'swan about' and behave as though we are 'experts' (as if!). I'd place myself, Alan, QoT, Newshound, etc., in this group. We ACT as though our views are 'imprortant' and thus, we have a duty to be MORE open about who and what we are than you do becasue you behave more 'decently'.

Many of us would place Paul in the 'I am wonderful' brigade ......albeit at a lower level...., at least, he TELLS us he is..... and thus he has more 'duty' to say WHY he thinks he's a 'god'. You then deserve the right to CHECK his claims.....

In case you are in doubt, I am an old driver from the 1960s, 70s and 80s with gap in the 90s to return in the 00s to 'run' my son. I never won ANYTHING important. I could stay near the front of the races until my over-exuberant driving would put me in the barriers or upside down....... far too often! Others who are old enough here will have seen me in that state and laugh at the memory! I still have a collection of damaged helmets!

I am a reasonable mechanic and I've tried most classes of karting but have spent a LONG time thinking about karting, trying to find the Trees from the Wood!
