all the time and effort put into typing, if you spent half of it thinking, there would be an answer to your question.
most prokarter are so blinkered that they think its the only class in the world and that every move in motorsport is directly aimed at them. SP motors were not made to make prokarting expensive, as lets face it prokarters do not spend big money. The SP motors were made for cadets, and if you went to whilton mill super 1 last weekend you would see cadet fathers spending more in 1 weekend than most prokarters do in a year. So when you have a cadet dad wanting the best engine, the only legal way to do this is buy 50 and pick the best of the parts. this all costs money!!!! Once one dad has done this, the rest must follow. Then all it takes is for a prokarter to go to RPM and hear that the cadets are getting better motors......guess what he wants some and finds an edge, next thing all prokarters want them.
You see it all over karting, people now rent super 1 winning rotax motors to do club rounds.
How can an engine builder be blamed for prokarters asking to buy super 1 cadet motors?? are they meant to say no you cant have them incase you fit them to a prokart??
