For us we can clearly see our driver change takes 7 seconds longer than our 'dummy'/drive-though pitstop. And it is simply because we have to stop twice; once for driver change and once for the stop box.
All that needs to happen is for this signature idea to be cleared up.
The solo driver should only sign (and only write their kart # to keep it quick) it ONCE but they MUST get out of the kart to do it. I reckon that would add 7 to 8 seconds on top of the total lap time.
When people say 'it costs 10 seconds', its not because they are stationary for that long, but because hi have to slow down to stop, and get going again. Our humble GX's aren't great off the mark remember!
The guys at 3S are very accommodating and they are probably reading this thread too.
As a driver from a two man team I'd back one signature (of kart #) per race provided the driver is out of the kart. I think that would be the fairest solution yet.
