ok Grant, calling me an obscene name has got you a response...

If we had an open season on all advertising the forum would eventually be swamped with adverts and the paying advertisers would stop using the service UKK provide.

If people need reminding of that then how would you suggest they are told?

Over the years many methods have been used from gentle hints to full blown onslaughts. It hasn't stopped the occasional advert but people are only human and no system is perfect.

I ask again what do you suggest? No chastising? No paid advertiser support? No noticeboard? No me or similar minded people like me?

or no support for rogue advertisers and then a single chastising post would be the end of the thread. Threads go on and on nowadays when people support the rogue advertisers.

What do you suggest?
