hi, the title suggests you have had decent performance in the past and it has just gone off so assuming that...

# are you getting the same revs as normal?
# are both the engines performing equally (swap rev ctr pickup to check both engines)
# are you using one or two fuel pumps?
# are the air filters clean?
# are the plugs the correct colour?
# is the performance drop off in acceleration or top speed?
# is the brake binding?
# are the rear axle bearings in good condition?
# is chain alignment as good as it can be?
# are you using the same make tyres as normal? ( diff' circumf'= diff top speed
# are you using the same engine oil as previously? ( changing oil can glaze the bore and lose compression)
# have you compared the engines for compression? ( see above for cause)

longwinded and basic but you have to start somewhere...
