than im afriad is generally down to the driver! most cadet engines hold quite a good torgue curve till about 5800rpm after that it drops off quite quickly so you dont want to be going much more over that for max revs. personally i would be more interested in your minimum revs. the top honda cadet drivers wont normally go below 3500rpm, quite simply because they are so much better at keeping there cornering speeds. dont be afraid to play around with your front sprocket, you would be suprised how often a 22 tooth clutch is used in super one. for example lets say you started on a 20/75 and you were pretty much on the pace, so the next logical step would be to try a 20/74 lets say you gained another 2 tenths. then went to 20/73 and found you were 0.5 slower. you would conclude that a 20/74 is your best gearing. i would try a 19/71 and see if it helps your min rpm or a 22/81. the ratios are all pretty similar but the way it effects your lap times will be different.
