I have spoken to UFO and RPM and they BOTH say that a good sp T1 is still better than the best T2

Call Richard at UFO and they will tell you the truth about the T2, they may in time be equal or a match for the best T1's but not yet.

I think it was TVCK that ran the T2 in there 24 hr race last weekend and it was 3/10th slower than the fastest T1's

The T2 WAS very fast but they had to alter the timing to bring them inline with the T1's, thats what all the waiting around has been, while they test and try different setting to make it THE SAME power as the T1's

If you chat to Paul from Rpm he has run a number of T2 and the best they run is just over 5.4 the best T1 are way above that 5.7 + (rpm dyno reed out very different to the other builders)

The T2 will not be allowed to have more power then the T1's

If you have tried a T2 and its THAT fast it will not be legal to race (I would think) and still have the timing set to the now illegal settings.

It sounds easy for the scruts to check so anyone fiddling with the timing will be thrown out.

From what I have been told the T2 is very very similar to the T1 just a few small cosmetic changes to pull start etc,
