The T1 is no longer in production. new regs for the T2 have been passed and are on abkc site i believe.Regs for MSA racing are allowed from august,but may be allowed in club racing now(see your clerk of course) They tried to advance the ignition timing using a stepped key but this gave more power than a top sp T1 eng so then tried to de-tune it using multiple head gaskets which didn't really work out so reverted back to standard eng with normal tuneing as per a race tuned T1. At the moment i would think most of the T2 engs about are from the same batch so there are not the different parts around to make good sp engs . this useually comes about with changes in the tooling/ manufactureing processes over time i am told that T2 engs are coming out as good club engs at the moment (7.1 hp on UFO dyno)and with time sp parts will come about
