Nick, I wouldn't worry about inner edge wear too much. It's how it feels and more than anything else how fast it is. Someone said set it up with toe in above - eek! My opinion on lasers - complete luxury and at our level and far from essential.

I've said it before, but we've all bent something during a race to the extent that it's visibly not right, yet been able to carry on at the same pace. Makes a bit of a mockery of having a nanometre perfect set up. The point I'm making is, if you're in the ball park with pace and feel of the kart, a millimetre here or there with the geometry isn't going to give you huge chunks of time. Hundredths maybe, but not much more. The thing in the seat is where you'll find the tenths!
