You are not wrong Grant. Although I suggested a change in tyre around this time last year for 2013 I also said there needed to be plenty notice. As this wasn't the case I recommended that this year we continue as is with both tyre eligible. Technically this is what the HC (albeit they elected to use the yes slick).

If we are to change then appropriate notice is required. It is,after all, a budget class and I can't imagine the majority of what is left of the most supported class can afford to rush out a month after Xmas and spend �300 on two sets of tyres when they have perfectly adequate stock from 2012. Worse still, what if tyres were given as a Xmas present??

Don't get me wrong I think we should all be on the same tyre as Jeff says but managed in the correct manner rather than simply enforced. That is the MSA way and look what happen to wlkc!
