Hi There Aron,
We build this engine setup listed above a lot, which puts out 9.7 Horsepower @ 4600Rpm. It's one of our much milder builds, which customers just starting in karting go for due to being cheap at just 275 couriered, and still packing quite a punch. It doesn't take a lot of tuning parts to increase a GX200's HP by the first 3 or 4 horsepower, it just requires a good fuel mixture, with the experience to machine everything so the engine is running to it's full potential, most importantly ensuring that the valves are sealing well, and using a leak down tester to get as close to perfect as possible.
We also build GX200's upto and over 30 horsepower & 10000Rpm's, so if you need any help at all, please get in touch. Our highest reading so far was our Resleeved and 3" piston, +.175" Stroker Crank (266cc), over .500" Valve Lift, 32mm/28mm Valves & 28mm Methanol carburetor put out 33Hp.
*Our dyno was purchased from Alistair Parker @ Sport devices, and was sent already configured. A standard 6.5Hp Loncin GX200 clone reads 6Hp on it.*
If anyone wants to take a look at any dyno prints, or wants any help or information, please get in touch!
