As above, the Top 3 chassis out there for prokarts have to be Wright, MS, 7Kart in no particular order. However MS and 7kart have the upper hand at the moment in my opinion. (no doubt i will get shot down for my opinion but every one is entitiled to one)
The fact is Both the MS and 7kart is very different. The MS is 2 stroke derived, welded joint, whereas a 7kart is designed for prokarting alone and is gold brazed.
The two designs make very different handling, the MS is softer and is very gentle and forgiving, but is much looser (in a good way) The 7kart is Stiffer and there fore gives much more ultimate grip
It generally boils down to driver preference, and what your used to, loose or planted?
Ive seen many drivers hop from chassis to chassis, Steve lyall is the ultimate chassis slag, and hes been at the sharp end winning on a 7kart for years, aswel as a BRM also a winner, and more recently an MS and hes been equally sucessful on them all.
As for cost, imo 7karts hold their value, so dont be put off thinking their over priced, Buying any kart new is expensive, bit find the right kit 2nd hand and save a fortune.
