Graeme, thanks with 4617 posts and 13yrs I defer to your experience ! So, if SP engines were the problem, (whoever was to blame for them), why didnt you just bin the pro class, and have one buy-back class ?
When I asked how they are sealed, I mean literally, how are they sealed ? Which bits are tamperproof ?
Anyway, if youre happy that theyre all going to be dynod equal, and stay equal the next day ad nauseum, then fine, but surely the fact that there is a buy-back price of 400 is tacitly admitting that theyre not going to be. And if youre happy with buy-back now, why werent you with 160s ? Maybe it was a case of not wanting to give up your SPs then, so why is it OK to give them up now ?
Seems to me that some people will be swapping one buy-back class that was independently policed, for another that isnt.
If the initial rush to do this continues, it may well increase overall grid sizes I sincerely hope so. But where there was a one class championship, it will dilute the overall grid and thats my worry.
