It's got me well up for it. In the last 8 or so years I've probably only used good SPs and had some decent results on them. But I'm really looking forward to going up against the competition knowing my motors aren't going to win the race for me. Now it's going to be down set up (include tyres in that) and ability. That surely makes the category appealing to everyone. Forget calling them GX200s and call them equal. That is all that matters to me. If it results in me looking like an idiot piddling round off the pace then so be it. But EPEC is surely set up to be the most credible championship to win in a long time. I also applaud RPM for this. If they make money out of it well done to them. Making money is not a crime and I haven't noticed anyone else put this sort of investment into an initiative that stands to benefit the class and drive down the costs for competitors.
Looking forward to Warden Law, where I'll probably finish last!
