The principal is simple: equalised performance and sensibly priced motors. Are these not the two main factors that prokarters have been crying out for since Honda Cadet became a chequebook class??
The timing tool has nothing to do with this class. The crankcase is sealed anyway. As it is the timing tool is great in principal but its practical application with the locking tool leaves masses of room for interpretation.
�350 for a flywheel says it all. Add �50 and you could buy an engine the same as the next guy and at the moment RPM will throw in a free clutch!
There is nothing new on here from the previous threads save for Warden Law, Teesside, PF and Stretton now having run race meetings and I don't see any of those competitors on here decrying what they experienced. Does that not tell you something? Or is close racing not what we really want.
