right i haven't even read half these posts as i got bored, for those of u who don't me as a person i am scottish and unfortunately just say it how it is!!!!
I gave up racing after 13 years in row of prokarting with quite a bit of success, it had gotten to the point where people's engines and bank balance were winning races rather than anyone with talent. (And i mean anyone not just being big headed and referring to me alone)
Recently after only 1 race in a year and a half i was asked to compete in an "extreme" meeting at warden law. Now baring in mind the last meeting i done here i struggled to finish in the top 6 and was sick of karting all together and now miraculously with these new extreme engines i manage to finish 3rd and only 0.03 secs of the fastest lap of the day.
for me it has the made the difference of me actually considering taking up the sport again.......
its even, its fair, its cheaper, it promotes competitive racing and its FUN!!!!!!!
Why anyone has anything against this class i simply can't understand?????? and I'm sorry but as for rpm being the only ones doing this - good on them - they were first to see the goldmine and started digging. well done RPM.
enough said
good bye
