I watched the first half hour of the endurance race at Teeside last Saturday. After hearing all the hype about the 200's I was expecting very close racing but it was no different to any other prokart 160 race. Within 3 laps the 200's were spread out almost half a lap apart. First two were neck and neck and romped away from the rest, the remaining 200's were spread out from each other just the same as the 160's. OK they were faster than the 160's and I think thats more the attraction than the so called close racing due to "same power engines". Makes you wonder just how it will work for 24hr endurance racing with hire karts, 160's and 200's. It's got to be tried before any sensible comments are made but it will be interesting to watch.
