Some of us felt that running the hire karts in the middle of the meeting was a pure insult to the guys who turn up time after time and was done by the management to push or prove the point that they don't give a damn about racing, it's all about the money.
Yes it is a business and needs to show a profit but with only 46 karts racing it still brought in �2300 in entry money plus the takings in the shop and cafe, is that not enough for one Sunday a month, of course leaving out August!!
On top of the entry fee lets not forget the 'membership' fee that must more than cover any admin costs etc for the year.
But getting back on track if you pardon the pun, let's show our strength in numbers at the next meeting (July 6th) and show we mean business as well.
