Nice one! made up for you and your lad! All that hard work is obviously paying off!
I will try almost anything if its legal to try and keep us competitive. I've even been doing rain dances as we go well in the wet! We have recently had a heat win and a second in the Final, so we are still just about hanging in there. We have never had any lead on our kart since we started racing nearly 2 years ago. The lowest we have ever been is 105KG. Got the carbon seat and floor tray, and K nuts everywhere along with lighter brackets and helium in the tyres....OK I lied about the helium! We run quite a high tyre pressure but our tyres have been going off too early in the race if we go too high.
I'm just struggling to find shorter chains and sprockets small enough. Hopefully the reduction in weigh will help the engine spin up fractionally quicker....and get us a couple of tenths quicker per lap which we appear to have lost in the last few months.
