No prob, I cant remember where I saw it, but someone once told me the Briggs is a heavy engine in comparison to the hondas......for me it just semed to make a load of noise, and not much performance.

I have to say for several years I frowned upon the Junior-Subaru class, just didnt look for us.......but then we tested one, and quite simply after 4 track sessions last sunday morning, I bought the whole kart and engine on the spot, so thats us sorted for 2018.

The grids are now big and the racing is highly competitive with a real mix of driving talent from amateur, good, and some real weapons up front, it promotes the kids to actually drive a kart, and the parents can work on setting it up while not worrying about the waft.

For sure I'm sure some engines are better than others, but at least they are all controlled by a trustworthy single source. We are really looking forwards to our first race next week at Bayford.
