The guy at Zip North was good- what he told us worked. Spose it depends where you are starting from and who you actually talk to. We kart for fun- no aspirations of becoming the next LH. We do now have a P1 and found them to be the most helpful in terms of understanding what effects what....
However, if a newbie posts asking for who to ask for advice I do not think telling them that the best thing to do is scrap the kart a good advert for the attitude of the sport. And no one else posted anything helpful. I have shared my very limited experience and I look forward to more experienced people posting useful, constructive advice that will encourage more people to get involved in the sport - even if it is just to get out on owner- driver days.
