My EXPERIENCES are that people will try and circumvent the system wherever possible and think that moaning on a chat site is a valid substitute for a properly formulated protest. It isn't.
My OPINION, based on those EXPERIENCES is that you should protest if you have the evidence and witnesses. Having a go in parc ferme or the paddock after the race is just asking for trouble.
As for ITPro's suggestion, well I couldn't possibly comment.. but back in the good ole days, there were certain drivers you didn't mess with 'cos you'd certainly get your own back. Having said that, these were the days before bodywork when the drivers were generally better (Fullerton, Allen et al).
