I wonder if those giggling have ever tested soft seats and hard seats, or long and short hubs back to back, or 0.7 pop off against 0.8? If not you seem to be in the wrong sport, karting is, for better or worse, all about finding tiny amounts of time through anorak style testing of nerdy little changes. The cumalative effect of each one can then be the difference between winning or not. The time spent finding the difference in Honda cam timing WAS the difference between winning national championships and not even making the podium. Why am I even bothering?
I asked a reasonable question about something I haven't got round to testing yet, in the vain hope that some other dedicated karting soul may have already done so.
