Just a few lines in addition to Kai's words......perhaps if Richard Blackburn could outline his discussion with the Lydd sprint meeting organisers to set some parameters. I.E. would the joining 4/ compete with the rotax drivers at the same level, using the same slicks and wets and assume their grid position based on their practice times....or start at the back as at ellough park ? Maybe other 4/ racers have experience of their local circuit's attitude to the joining of rotax grids (tyre choice is important here - standardising on , say SL6's & W2's would help keep tyre costs down ).........due to the low number of rotax competitors at the first round of the Bayford Meadows summer hour and a half enduro, Ian Ward has agreed that a Swissauto can join, abit not to score any championship points. So it seems that there could be a glimmer of opportunity for 4/ drivers to compete on rotax grids, given the low turn-outs at club meetings around the country. I still think it needs 1 commited person to bring the threads together.......any thoughts, Rene ?
