there's no getting away from it ,what ever your opinion or view, honda pro karting is far far far from the entry level playing field it was intended to be, FACT
elite drivers are spending thousands!!!! engines prepped by tuning houses at a cost , new tyre's new chassis sp engines ! and for what ? there isnt even a national championship !! how mental is that..
with the cost of chassis and 2 engines to consider costs are very close to 2/ karting no one can deny that ,, and your racing at club level events only !!
the grids are so diverse with much variation from a 300 kart at rear of the grid to a 5000 at the front.so how can that be a fair single engine class? it isnt
karting appears to be on its knees at the min and i dont have the answer, theres a struggle between msa and non msa,, even the super 1 british champs is now divided between rotax and none rotax with the kf series looking like it will fall on its a**e!!
basicaly the point a few of us on this thread are making is pro karting has now gone the way that 2/ went $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and is not equal or a cheap class to enter, and apart from that it is still F***ing slow
