hi kai, the prices i quoted were from memory, i beleive the uk price for the tech-f1 is still �3k plus vat, last time i looked at the swiss auto it was 2.5k + but that was a while ago.

As for the Aixro, i'm pretty sure the �5k was the top spec with the optional starter (which you need), water kit (which you need), upgraded apex seals etc. and including vat. so it is still about 5k including vat.

thinking about it thats prob where i mixed up! including the vat on the rotary and excluding on the others lol. But its the same ol situation, doesnt matter how the long the engine lasts people see the initial price tag and buy a crappy old rotax. Same with the aixro and the 4 strokes and with so few sales nationaly second hand engines dont come cheap either :(
