Brian, I have respect for your extensive knowledge of the workings of a GX160. I have bought and read your ebook and indeed used it, in an attempt to improve the performance of my two shiney whacker plate engines, without witnessing any significant gain. That said, I could not measure if there was any gain because I do not own a Dyno.
It proved to be an expensive season costing more in parts and tools than the engines themselves although it would be fair to say I enjoyed the journey of learning.
I now use it to wipe my ring with.
The truth is that the engine builders are producing engines that do deliver significant gain and we did not need a dyno report to prove it, the proof was in the pudding at the track. We now concentrate on driver ability and technical set-up (which indeed are more significant than the engines themselves)
Lubo, you will go quicker and save money if you contact Andy at BLE, Jeff at Prokart, Roger at RPM or Richard at UFO.
ADZ is an excellent karter, whom our and boys and Catherine have a great deal of respect for. Brian, please show a little more respect for the karters who use this forum.
