I will reiterate my point from a previous thread that I think it is a good move to use the YDS for the new season. But we must have a transition period after which we dump the SL1, maybe longer than 3 months if people want to be able to use up their SL1 supplies but we need to have completed the change by the middle of the year.
As for the wet tyre I think we need to keep it open for this year as people will have supplies of the Dunlop wets which would be wasted if we are lucky enough to have 3 dry rounds to start off the new season. But I think the club then needs to decide sometime in the next few months to then drop one of the wet tyres for 2014 and move forward with the YDS slick and then either the Dunlop or Bridgestone wet to keep the costs down and keep it more of a level playing field.
