hi sully.... its me that started the pfi pro karting page to try and relay some info to the prokarters out there due to the problems you mentioned. if theres anything you need to know about next year pop a message onto the wall and me or one of the others will answer it for you. as soon as i find out about anything new its usually put up there along with anything that might be relevant to the racers. the actual pfi site is more for the results and championship points with any major news being put up also. both these sites are run by racers and not by pfi itself so info has to filter through. im not aware of any other channels so if you find any let me know ...... yes stevelyall yer right. i was also there early enough to remember the massive grids with enough to fill a pro, clubman and rookie class. but its not just pfi thats had reduced numbers. i remember warden law talking about having to restrict the numbers due to 45 or more on track being dangerous but now grids are down to 15ish. fortunately pfi has still kept a good grid with there being usually grids in the late 20's early 30's which is probably the most in the north for sprint racing. the pool of racers throughout the country is less due,in my opionion, to the current financial situation so yes. anything to keep costs down is useful. however a new extreme class requires these new motors to be purchased. then how long before a sp200 is available. and thus we start again.
