good thread, the principle of the class is too reduce cost and equalise the grid and no one will object to that . one engine supplier , one dyno , one sealing agent is going to be the problem . does anyone know what the procedure is for mid meeting engine problems requiring the seal to be broke ? what is the official line on why or why not other builders cant be used ? is it the dyno thing ? is everyone happy sending (at a cost) motors to rpm every time your valves need grinding which involves re sealing and re dyno'ing ( at a cost ) i cant afford to do that and i think maybe some other cant afford that either , but if the majority of the grid's around the uk are happy with this extra expense then extreme may be a success.. i would love to know how long this class has been in the planning ? i bet no one would dare suggest it was in the planning before hundreds of t2's were flying out the shop door
