You sound very excited; now comes reality!
First, imagine if I said, "I am 14, I have never played football in my life but I am going to be the Captain of England when we win the World Cup"! It would be a great 'aim' but reality should intervene in there somewhere!
So... what to do!
1) Kart racing is done at weekends, mostly Sundays. 2) Can you get to a nearby track on those days (Guardian, Parent etc.)? 3) If so, tell us where you are and we'll tell you the nearest tracks and which Sunday of each month they race at that track. 4) You tell us if you can get there and one (or many) of us will offer to meet you and 'introduce' you to the sport. 5) You will get some idea of the sport! You can be CERTAIN that it will be NOTHING like you expect! It is EXTREMELY fast and exciting. 6) Don't even THINK about buying/building (!) a kart until you have been to at LEAST 3 race meetings!
Once you have been to about 3 or 4 races, you will be able to work out what to buy and what to race.
However, be CERTAIN that you will not be building a kart that you can race! That's a bit like thinking you'll build an Aircraft so you can get into the RAF!
Karting for 'fun' (not racing) can be done VERY cheaply, karting for racing will be more expensive but NOT impossibly so.
Keep your 'aim' high but keep an eye on reality, too!
