Well, I would agree IF I hadn't been stating, on THIS web site, that I think he will have a BIG one! He takes too many chances and, by the laws of probability, one of them is going to go WRONG!
Er.... what do you MEAN 'he won't do it again'? He HAS done it AGAIN...... and again..... and again! And he is NOT, so far, LEARNED from hios errors! Yes, that DOES make him fun to watch but it does NOT make him SAFE to watch!
The team employed him to win CHAMIONSHIPS and THAT is why the other drivers tend to race for POINTS and NOT 'showboating'! If he survives uninjured for long eneough, I suspect he WILL learn in...... st SOME stage..... Gilles Villeneuve NEVER did! Many of us were predicting Gilles' death LONG before it happend, too! YES, the cars ARE safer now and Lewis has a greater chance for surviving an impact than did Gilles and, perhaps, Lewis is the FIRST of the new drivers to realise that you CAN take what would have been INSANE chances and survive them.......
We'll see!
