I've read and watched and observed as much as any ordinary person. But I have no interest in delving into the detailed science, so like most people I've formed an opinion based on a limited knowledge. So I'm quite willing to concede that I may be completely wrong.
However nothing that you have said has pursuaded me that that is case, in fact it has hardened my opinion that we (ordinary people) are being bullyed into accepting something as being true just because aparently better qualified people says it is. Or to put it more simply, we are being 'blinded by science'.
However, I think perhaps the strongest argument against all the doomsday scenarios is, if the science is so overwhelming, why are governments doing so little so late?
If what we're told is true, we need from tomorrow, a complete worldwide ban on non essential travel, strict limits on energy consumption. Central heating to be made illegal. A ban on the production of luxury goods etc. etc.
If you're right, nothing short of these sorts of measures worldwide, backed up with force, is going to save us.
