Off line. The scareware is on the machine. It keep trying to connect me to it's home website.

I have highest level Norton which is updated daily as is Windows.

this one slipped through. As it's not a virus hard to find it.

Have tried downloaded several free cures but it won't let me run them just fills teh screen with error mesages.

I have called in the pro's who will be here tomorrow.

My Norton has worked well up to now. I have never had any problems before and I am a big surfer and down loaded.

I will try some of the other downlods you mention.

I was recomended Bitdefender 2009 which i just bought at �30 but didn't solve the problem. I am told this programe is used by a lot of the pro's.
