Perhaps the issue is more to do with the ambiguities of the written language. e.g. I read a book. Is that present or past tense. Does that mean I am in the process of reading a book or does it mean that it is something that I have already done. A lot of other languages, in their written form, have the tense defined in the words used, or do not have words that are spelt the same with multiple meanings. Such as PART ; PUNCH ; RIFLE
English pronunciation is even more difficult, especially when trying to read the written word. E.g. Though ; bough ; through ; cough ; rough Right ; write ; rite
I suggest you use a smaller font for field labels, especially when translating into German.
Tongue, or is it tong, in cheek
