over 90 in a 70 would mean you could be give 6 points.

@ 21 he COULD have still been in his probationary period and therefore only able to get 6 points before his licence is lost.

Therefore it is POSSIBLE that he could be at risk.

Of course the car could have been modified between the dates, it is also possible that the officer/offical using the camera was at fault.

I am not defending either side, but for all there good work, sometime this machines do make mistakes as has been proven before.

Maybe he was outside of his 2 yr probationary period, but already had 6 points, say 3 for an incorrect working light board on a trailer ;-), and 3 for parking in a stupid place.

As you know yourself Ian, you don't just get points for speeding
