More rubbish!

Piracy would have been at EXACTLY the same level, no matter WHAT the music industry had done moving to download formats! It's not the FORMATS that make people into pirates; it's the fact that they can STEAL it and not PAY for it!

If 'theft' was being to be AVOIDED by free-downloader, then all they had to do was to send a 'fee' to the music companies...... do you know of QUEUES of people doing taht.....?

The Video industry is the PERFECT example. The output has been available in 'downlaod' form for LONGER than it's been available in DIGITAL form..... it's called.... a TV! has that 'freely available, convenient' form STOPPED people from pirating TV shows......?

The same applies to MUSIC... it TOO has been available in 'down'load' form..... over the RADIO!

This tripe about 'availablity of download format' is just an EXCUSE for simple THEFT!
