nice piece of kit, better than sky+ menu wise and some nice features like folder recording ie you have one, the good lady has one

but �300, sky hd �50 plus �30 install for sky users, 10 min phone call got that removed, �10 a month subs,

in the end choose sky hd, more hd channels and better support

the 12 week wait is standard, keep checking your sky account for updates, mine has dropped to 2-4 weeks in less than a week

love humax (had their twin tuner pvr for 3 years) but bad supply problems + lack of hd channels meant sky wins...for now

and if you cant tell the difference between hd and sd on either system, you either need to go to specsavers or have brought a LCD tv when you should have brought plasma, both deliver close to bluray quality but have no control on what you watch them on or how it is set up.......or how good your eyes are
