....that not one single comment has appeared on here about the recent rejection by Mrs Smith, of a democratically elected representative of a European Parliament.

Despite our governments acceptance of various hate mongering preachers, violent 'rap' singers, convicted murderers, and despotic dictators, they choose to prevent entry to Geert Wilders....simply because he made a film criticising the quran. The film (fitna) is freely available on youtube, and contains much unpleasant material....but it is factual.

20 years ago, this country stood shoulder to shoulder with Salman Rushdie, against the threats made against him for a work of fiction.
Now, we have simply capitulated against the possible reaction by militant religionists, and issued a an unprecedented blow against the freedom of speech, that once we used to stand for.

Whether you agree or disagree with Wilders comments, I urge you all to email your MP, and show that the people of this contry still DO care about this freedom.

Before you lose it.
