moonshine there is no threshold...that was my point, child = �1000 a year, out of work, working or living in a country pile, thats not welfare thats payment

if you choose to have kids it is not up to the state to support them unless something happens that will affect the welfare of the child.....and that is the problem when do they step in...but a return to old system where people in need could get free baby milk and nappys would help and a state run nursery scheme so parents in trouble can work, retrain, the old way you knew our taxes where going to protecting the children it was aimed at, giving cash leaves it to open to abuse

sorry dont buy into CASH FOR KIDS system but plenty out there do
