as a member of lovefilm get blurays for same price as sd dvds but had 5 blurays and all of them are in true cinematic format..........so pay for a big screen but end up watching through a letterbox......as i am postman that does sting

and my lcd and quite a few others dont allow aspect ratio options when using hdmi

now had the chance tonite to run a sd dvd through ps3 using upscaling v a bluray.........using pap (picture and picture from 2 sources ie hdmi + scart) on my plasma

most sd dvds will show at 16.9 and with the upscaling, overall beat the bluray....but just our view when back to back...upscaling via ps3

will say hd shows its true colours on sky hd, if you have the box, set the sky+ for around 2am on hd arts...........true hd footage under the ocean , great way to setup your tv for hd and impress your mates, fish look so real, got the fishing rod out of the garage to try an hook a few
